INDRUDUCTION
Indian society characterized by its special feature of caste system . It have a long and continues history . This system create a wide range of inequality on the basis of the berth . This led to the exclusion of a large population of the country as well as to the backwardness of the rigion . Although many Hindus subscribe to the belief that one is born into a certain caste this belief is not supported by their scriptures. The caste system in India has degenerated into a system falsely recognizing men born in Brahmin families as Brahmins, even though they don’t exhibit the qualities of Brahmins. This has caused so many problems.
The independent India and its democratic constitution put forward some measure to improve this disadvantaged section of the population . The polices to include this marginalized category include affirmative action or the protective discrimination . So the proses of inclusion is necessary to the development and the progress of the country. CASTE : A TOOL OF EXCLUSION Caste system created a number of problem in the society . It marginalized and segregated so called "untouchable" from their life world . The social history of caste system have a religious back up . The vedic explanetion about this phinomona is related with lord shiva . "When they divided Purusa, how many ways did they apportion him? What was his mouth? What were his arms? What were his thighs, his feet declared to be? His mouth was the Brahmin [caste], his arms were the Rajanaya [Kshatriya caste], his thighs the Vaishya [caste]; from his feet the Shudra [caste] was born."
